EXCLAMATIONS

Las  oraciones exclamativas en inglés se pueden hacer con:

 1. HOW: 

• HOW + ADJECTIVE / ADVERB + SUBJECT + VERB                            

How heavy it is! = ¡Cuánto pesa!       
          ↳(adjetivo) 
How quickly he runs! = ¡Qué rápido corre!
           ↳(adverbio)

• HOW + SUBJECT + VERB

How you have grown!= ¡Cómo has crecido! ¡, ¡Cuánto has crecido!

  

😱 ¡OJO!  El orden es → 1º SUJETO + 2º VERBO, ya que no es una oración interrogativa. 
                    Compara: 1. Oración exclamativa: How big that tree is!                              
                              2. Oración interrogativa: How big is that tree?

• WHAT A/AN + (ADJETIVO) + CONTABLE SINGULAR  

What  a dress! = ¡Vaya vestido!, ¡Qué vestido!                  
What an interesting book! =  ¡Qué libro tan interesante!, ¡Vaya libro interesante!

• WHAT + ADJETIVO + INCONTABLE / PLURAL

What nice weather! = ¡Qué buen tiempo!

What lovely flowers! = ¡Qué flores tan bonitas!

• WHAT + OBJETO + SUJETO + VERBO

What a beautiful smile you have! = ¡Qué sonrisa tan bonita tienes!

What bad luck they had! = ¡Qué mala suerte tuvieron!
